Márton was born in Budapest in 1970. In1989, he began his studies at the International Violin Making School of Cremona (IPIALL) under the guidance of Vincenzo Bissolotti. In 1993 he obtained the Italian Master degree. Having spent time in several Italian workshops, he later worked in Graz, Vienna, Budapest and Sopron. In 2000 he moved back to Budapest. From 2003 to 2018, he worked in the workshop that he founded along with Zsombor Kemény. 

In 2004 he passed the master's examination in Budapest. Since 2018, he has opened a new workshop in Ugocsa Street, Budapest, which is surrounded by the serenity of the Buda mountains.
