About me

Tamás was born in Tapolca on November 14, 1981. He completed his studies as a violin maker at the Instrument Making School of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, majoring in stringed and plucked instrument. He opened his own workshop in 2003 and fifteen years later he passed his master's exam.
He mainly deals with making new violins and violas. His work is greatly influenced by the 16th and 18th century Brescian and Cremonese masters, such as Gasparo Bertolotti da Salo, Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesú and Antonio Stradivari. His workshop is located in Uraiújfalu, near Szombathely.
